Your Privacy Choices
Last updated: June 30, 2026
This is SEOG's "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" page, provided for California residents under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), and for anyone who wants to manage their privacy choices. SEOG is operated by AIEmployees, a company registered in the State of Texas, United States ("AIEmployees", "we", "us", "our"). This page is effective June 30, 2026 and works together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
Do We Sell Your Information?
We do not sell your personal information for money. We have never received monetary payment in exchange for your personal information, and we do not intend to.
However, under California law the terms "sale" and "share" are defined broadly. Some analytics and advertising-related cookie activity — for example, data made available to third-party analytics or tag-management providers for cross-context behavioral purposes — may be considered a "sale" or "share" even when no money changes hands. Because of this, we give you the choices described below so you can opt out of that activity.
Our backend sets no tracking cookies, and signed-in app pages use strictly necessary cookies only. Analytics cookies are set only after you click "Accept" in our cookie banner.
Your California Rights
If you are a California resident, you have the following rights:
- Opt out of "sale"/"sharing" — direct us not to "sell" or "share" your personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA.
- Global Privacy Control (GPC) — we honor the GPC browser signal as a valid opt-out of "sale"/"sharing" for the browser or device that sends it.
- Right to know / access — request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you.
- Right to delete — request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal exceptions.
- Right to correct — request correction of inaccurate personal information.
- Right to non-discrimination — we will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.
We do not sell personal information for monetary value, and we honor both the GPC signal and the rights above.
Residents of Other US States
California is the only state that requires this specifically-titled page, but residents of other states with comprehensive consumer-privacy laws — including Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, and Virginia — have comparable choices, including the right to opt out of the "sale" of personal data and of targeted advertising. Nevada residents may submit a verified request not to sell their covered information under NRS Chapter 603A. You can exercise these choices the same ways described on this page — the cookie controls, the Global Privacy Control signal, or by emailing us — and you can review the full set of rights in our Privacy Policy.
How to Opt Out of Analytics "Sharing"
You can opt out of analytics-related "sharing" in either of these ways:
- Manage cookie preferences — use the "Manage cookie preferences" button rendered on this page to withdraw your consent and disable analytics cookies, including Microsoft Clarity (provider: Microsoft Corporation) and any analytics tags fired through Google Tag Manager. Rejecting analytics cookies stops this activity going forward; your choice is remembered in your browser via the
seog_cookie_consentvalue. - Enable Global Privacy Control — turn on GPC in a supporting browser or extension. When we detect the GPC signal, we treat it as an opt-out of "sale"/"sharing" for that browser or device automatically.
Because cookie and GPC preferences are stored per browser and per device, you may need to repeat your choice on each browser or device you use, and if you clear your cookies or local storage.
How to Exercise Other Data Rights
For rights beyond analytics opt-out — access, deletion, correction, and export/portability — you can:
- Use in-app account controls — signed-in account owners can manage their information and delete their account directly in the app. Deleting your account cascade-deletes your businesses, reviews, keywords, rankings, and related records. Note that leads already shared to our CRM, and unclaimed report leads, may be retained for legitimate follow-up.
- Email us — send your request to hello@seog.ai with the subject line "Attn: Privacy", and tell us which right you wish to exercise.
Authorized Agents
You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. We may require the agent to provide proof that you have authorized them to act for you, and we may ask you to verify your own identity directly with us or to confirm that you provided the agent with permission.
Verification & Timing
To protect your information, we verify your identity before acting on a request to know, delete, or correct. Verification may involve confirming information already associated with your account, such as your email address. We may not be able to fulfill a request if we cannot reasonably verify that you are the person whose information is the subject of the request.
We aim to acknowledge requests promptly and to respond within 45 days, as required by the CCPA. If we need more time, we may extend this period as permitted by law and will let you know. Opt-out of "sale"/"sharing" requests, including GPC signals, are honored as soon as reasonably practicable.
