Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: July 16, 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy (effective July 16, 2026) governs your use of SEOG, the AI local-SEO platform operated by AIEmployees, the business name of an independent sole proprietor ("AIEmployees", "we", "us", "our"). It applies to everyone who accesses or uses SEOG, including account holders, their authorized users, white-label partners, and visitors who use public features such as the free GBP report. This policy supplements, and is incorporated into, our Terms of Service; capitalized terms not defined here have the meaning given in the Terms. Violations of this policy may result in actions up to and including suspension or termination of your account.

General Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use SEOG, or allow anyone using your account to use SEOG, to:

  • Engage in, facilitate, or promote any illegal activity, or violate any applicable law or regulation.
  • Infringe, misappropriate, or violate the intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights of any person or entity.
  • Upload, transmit, or distribute any malware, viruses, worms, or other harmful or malicious code.
  • Conduct phishing, fraud, deceptive schemes, or any activity intended to mislead or defraud others.
  • Harass, threaten, abuse, defame, or harm others, or post or generate hateful content.
  • Gain or attempt to gain unauthorized access to any account, system, network, or data, or circumvent or attempt to circumvent any authentication, security, or access-control measure.
  • Disrupt, degrade, overload, or impair the service or the infrastructure that supports it, or interfere with any other user's use of the service.
  • Scrape, crawl, harvest, or bulk-extract data from the service beyond the use expressly permitted by your plan and the Terms.
  • Resell, sublicense, lease, or otherwise provide access to the service to third parties without our prior authorization (white-label partners are authorized only as set out in their agreement with us).

Google and Third-Party Data

SEOG integrates with Google and other third-party data sources. When using these features, you agree to:

  • Have all necessary rights, ownership, or authorization for any business you connect, claim, or analyze through SEOG.
  • Comply with Google's applicable terms and policies governing your use of Google Business Profile and other Google data. Your use of such data is subject to those terms.
  • Not use SEOG to create, solicit, or publish fake or deceptive reviews, to manipulate ratings, or to otherwise misrepresent a business or its reputation.
  • Respect the rate limits and usage restrictions of Google and other third-party APIs, and not take any action designed to evade or exceed them.
  • Not use SEOG, its API, or its MCP tools as a proxy or means of access to any Google API, or to obtain Google data or API access you could not obtain directly under Google's terms.
  • Not scrape, bulk-extract, export, or externally cache Google-derived content, or use SEOG to build or enrich a competitor, lead, place, or business-listing database, or any dataset for redistribution.
  • Not resell, sublicense, redistribute, or provide to any third party raw Google-derived content (business profiles, reviews, ratings, place identifiers, or competitor listings) except as part of your own authorized local-SEO workflow for a business you manage.

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of business data, reviews, and related content obtained through SEOG complies with applicable platform terms and law.

AI Feature Use

SEOG provides AI-assisted features, including review-reply drafts, recommendations, summaries, and AI-visibility checks. You agree not to use these features to:

  • Generate deceptive, fraudulent, defamatory, or otherwise illegal content.
  • Create fake reviews, manipulate ratings, or impersonate any person, business, or entity.
  • Produce spam or content intended to mislead consumers or search and AI systems.

AI outputs may be inaccurate or incomplete. You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated content for accuracy and appropriateness before relying on it or publishing it.

Communications and Anti-Spam

SEOG is not a bulk-messaging tool. If you use any output, contact details, or other information obtained through SEOG to communicate with people, you must comply with the CAN-SPAM Act and all other applicable laws governing electronic communications and marketing. You must not use SEOG to send, facilitate, or support spam or unsolicited bulk communications.

Account Security

You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must:

  • Keep your password and any connected-account access tokens confidential.
  • Not share your credentials or allow unauthorized persons to access your account.
  • Notify us promptly at hello@seog.ai if you suspect or become aware of any unauthorized access to, or compromise of, your account.

Your password is stored only as a bcrypt hash, and sessions can be revoked server-side when you sign out, but these safeguards do not relieve you of your responsibility to protect your credentials.

API and Rate Limits

Access to the service and its integrations is subject to rate limits and usage restrictions. You agree not to:

  • Evade, disable, or circumvent any rate limit, quota, or other technical restriction.
  • Use scripts, bots, or other automated means to abuse the service, generate excessive load, or extract data beyond your permitted use.
  • Operate in any manner that places an unreasonable or disproportionate burden on the service or its infrastructure.

Automation, API, and MCP

SEOG offers an API and MCP (agent-automation) tools for authenticated automation of your own workflows, scoped to your account and the businesses you manage. When using them, you must not:

  • Bulk-scrape, harvest, crawl, or systematically extract Google-derived content (business listings, reviews, ratings, place identifiers, competitor data).
  • Export, copy, cache, or store Google-derived content outside the Service, or beyond what Google's terms permit, including into external databases or third-party tools.
  • Resell, redistribute, sublicense, or share Google-derived content or your API/MCP access with any third party, or pool data across accounts or clients.
  • Use the API or MCP as a proxy or gateway to any Google API.
  • Build, populate, or enrich a competitor, lead, place, or business-listing database from Google content for use outside your own authorized workflow.

Certain higher-risk tools that return or store raw Google Places or Business Profile content are available only to eligible standalone customers, and only while we have them enabled; they are not available to public, agency, reseller, or white-label accounts. We may add, remove, gate, or disable tools at any time, and may log and review API and MCP usage to detect abuse and protect compliance with Google's terms.

Reporting Violations

If you become aware of any use of SEOG that violates this policy, please report it to us at hello@seog.ai. We appreciate reports that help us keep the service safe and trustworthy.

Monitoring and Enforcement

We may, but are not obligated to, monitor use of the service and investigate suspected violations of this policy. Where we determine that a violation has occurred, or to protect the service, our users, or third parties, we may take any action we consider appropriate, including:

  • Issuing a warning.
  • Removing or restricting access to content.
  • Restricting, suspending, or terminating an account or access to the service.

We may take these actions with or without notice, in our reasonable discretion and as permitted by law.

Changes

We may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date shown on this page. Your continued use of SEOG after an update takes effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
